We would like to introduce and welcome you to our wonderful Corinthian Bay Community and to our Corinthian Bay Social Committee (CBSC).

THE PURPOSE of this committee, through various planned activities, is to support the Water Company, to build and foster community spirit & cohesiveness, encourage neighborly contacts and friendships, make good memories, and enjoy awesome Lake County.

CBSC is a committee of the Waterboard. Please keep in mind that all the board members of the Corinthian Bay Water Company and CBSC are volunteers. As such, The Water Company and CBSC does need everyone's support as appropriate.

We hope you will find Corinthian Bay to be a special place to live, to enjoy boating and Lake activities, form new friendships, and enjoy neighborhood camaraderie.

Past planned yearly CBSC activities have included semi annual parties:

• July BBQ / Potluck

• Annual Christmas Potluck

Ongoing activities:

The CBSC (Corinthian Bay Social Committee) current activities:

• Welcome basket for new residents

• Bunco, monthly •Potential Corn Hole tournaments (equipment available)

• Happy Hour every Tuesday at the Gazebo

• Book club, meets monthly in neighbors homes

• Neighborhood free book exchange library; kiosks located on Elizabeth and St. Francis Drives

• Seasonal handmade items may be delivered to neighbors (October,
  December, February, April)

As in the past, CBSC with volunteer help, will continue to provide:

• EMERGENGY RESPONSE FOR CORINTHIAN BAY:

  • Provide loads of sand for homeowners during flood times

  • Maintain the buoys

  • Organize community volunteer work parties for tree removal and waterway maintenance as needed (Waterways Maintenance Committee)

CBSC Newsletters & Communication:

• will be sent via *email, *Facebook, and *some by mail

• Waterboard minutes and Newsletters will also be posted on the Corinthian Bay bulletin board located near the propane tanks

• Be sure to check the CORINTHIAN BAY FACEBOOK page for events, and neighborhood news

DUES (CB Social Committee):

Dues are not collected. As the Social Committee is a committee of the Water Board, the Social Committee expenses will be provided a budget allowance by the Water Board to the Social Committee to continue to perform its functions. All CBSC meetings are open to everyone.

The monies allotted contribute to EMERGENCY RESPONSE for Corinthian Bay, maintenance of buoys, sandbags as needed, support food refreshments for work parties. along with two semi annual neighborhood parties. The July BBQ is an annual public meeting of the Water Board as required by State Law.

CORINTHIAN BAY WATER COMPANY

WATERBOARD MEETINGS are held quarterly. It is open to all homeowners. Meetings are held in local homes. Notice of quarterly meetings are emailed to every homeowner.

** Volunteers for Work Parties are needed for neighborhood projects / tasks as needed. All abilities are welcomed

Please help to protect our docks, channel and Bay

•Dispose yard debris into the Green Can and not into the water

•Avoid wakes near docks and homes

•Observe speed limit of 5 MPH in the channel and 5 MPH within 200' of shore on the Bay

•Keep our community safe by being aware of suspicious persons or activities

Being a good neighbor:

•We have a leash law in Lake County. Please walk your dog on a leash. No dog should be running loose. If your dog poops in someone else's yard, please clean it up.

•No fireworks are permitted outside of the city limits of Lakeport. Therefore, fireworks are not permitted in Corinthian Bay

•Please help keep Corinthian Bay looking great by maintaining your yards
